You do not need a law degree. You need a clear system.
Most GDPR resources are written by lawyers, for lawyers. This one is written for the founder who runs the business, answers the emails and has no time to waste.
Without a clear guide
- You copied a privacy policy from another company and hope nobody notices.
- A customer emails "send me all my data" and you freeze.
- You are not sure if GDPR even applies to a business of your size.
- You paste customer information into AI tools without knowing what happens to it.
- Compliance sits on the "later" list, getting heavier every month.
With this book
- You can explain GDPR in plain English and decide whether it applies to you.
- You know your lawful basis for each use of data and write a notice that is honest.
- You can answer a data request, or a breach, calmly with a checklist in hand.
- You use cookies, email marketing and AI tools with confidence.
- You have a 30-day plan, templates and a Founder Score to track progress.

The plain-language promise
If this book does not make GDPR clearer and more doable for you, email hello@gdprgard.eu within 14 days and you get every cent back. You do not even have to say why.
Before you ask.
What format is the book, and how do I get it?
It is a PDF of about 200 pages with clickable contents, bookmarks and fillable worksheets, plus a companion Excel file with the registers and a Founder Score calculator. You get the download page straight after checkout, and the link is also emailed to you.
Who is it written for?
Women who run or are building a business: coaches, consultants, freelancers, creators, course creators, e-commerce and SaaS founders, agency owners, beauty and wellness professionals and small-team leaders. It assumes no legal knowledge. Everything in it applies to any small business owner, whoever they are.
Will this make my business GDPR compliant?
No book, template or tool can promise that, and this one does not. It teaches you what the GDPR requires, what is only good practice, and gives you the documents and habits most small businesses need. The Founder Score is an educational self-assessment, not a certification.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is an educational guide tied to the Articles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and to official sources, and it says clearly when to bring in a lawyer or a data protection officer. Laws and guidance change, so the book points you to the sources to check.
Does it cover AI tools and chatbots?
Yes. There is a full chapter on using AI without creating a privacy problem, with a 15-question AI checklist, a decision tree and a traffic-light quick-reference card. It also explains how the EU AI Act sits next to the GDPR.
How is this different from GDPR Made Simple (the 38-page eBook)?
GDPR Made Simple is a compact plain-language overview of the regulation. This book is a hands-on founder's guide and workbook: scenarios for ten business models, 12 case studies, a 30-day plan, 15 templates and the Founder Score. They complement each other.
What about my country's rules?
The book is about the EU GDPR. National laws, supervisory-authority guidance and sector rules add detail, and the UK and Switzerland have their own regimes. The book shows where national rules matter and links to the authorities.
What if it is not for me?
